Fish culture and breeding

The warm water fishes (common carp, silver carp, bighead and grass carp) are grown as poly-culture system. The fish stock rates are applied based on the feeding ratio, ponds conditions, preparation and fertilization methods to gain the maximum yields. Before the culturing season, ponds preparation procedure such as water supplying, liming, pond walls repairing, drainage and sludge collecting are applied. Then, the sorted juveniles are released into the ponds. The chemical and organic fertilizers are adjusted based on the ponds' chemical and physical parameters such as pH, temperature, TDS, turbidity, oxygen, nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate concentrations. The fish feeding is species-specific and the extruded feeds are applied in an exact time and place.
